PRISM UniChannel

PRISM UniChannel: Drop-Ship and Unified Commerce

PRISM UniChannel is ECOM’s specialized drop-ship and unified commerce solution. It connects your sales channels, ERP systems, suppliers, warehouses and 3PL partners in one platform, so an order can move from the sale to the doorstep and on to the invoice with less manual work and clear visibility.

The big picture

One platform between where you sell and who fulfills

Selling through several channels usually means several separate processes: one for each marketplace, another for the store, others for each supplier and warehouse. UniChannel brings them together. It connects marketplaces, online stores and private marketplaces on one side with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and 3PLs on the other, and keeps your ERP in step, with visibility across product, pricing, order, fulfillment and analytics processes.

Orders start on the left, wherever you sell. UniChannel manages the product, pricing, order, fulfillment and analytics processes in the center, and passes each order to the partner on the right that should fulfill it. Status and tracking flow back the other way, while your ERP stays in step.

What it runs on

ERP connectivity, security, managed services and support

A commerce platform only helps if it stays connected to your records and keeps running. These foundations apply across the section.

  • ERP connectivity

ECOM offers 38+ ERP connectors, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and Epicor. EDI/API automation carries orders, invoices and inventory updates between UniChannel and your ERP.

    ERP integrations
  • Security and data protection

Multilayer encryption, redundancy and a highly available cloud architecture. ECOM’s security foundation includes SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA safeguards and PCI DSS, and personal information (PII) is treated as a data-protection responsibility.

    Security and compliance
  • Managed services

Guided onboarding and implementation by certified integration teams, plus marketplace and content optimization and maintenance support.

    Implementation services
  • 24×7 follow-the-sun support

Around-the-clock coverage for mission-critical operations. Coverage hours and response targets are defined in each service agreement.

    24×7 support

SOC 2 Type II is an independent examination report, not a certification. There is no official general-purpose HIPAA certification; ECOM confirms which environments are suitable for ePHI before any is exchanged. PCI DSS applies to the systems and services covered by current validation evidence. The environments, criteria and periods covered are confirmed for the services you are evaluating.

Practical workflow

From the sale to the invoice: the end-to-end workflow

A typical drop-ship order, with each step carried by UniChannel. Your channels, partners and rules set the exact path.

  1. A customer places an orderThe order arrives from a marketplace, online store, private marketplace or store system and joins one consolidated view.
  2. The order is routedUniChannel sends it automatically to the right supplier, manufacturer, warehouse or 3PL.
  3. The fulfillment partner respondsAn acknowledgment returns by EDI or API, and status and exceptions are visible in real time.
  4. The shipment is preparedRates are compared, a carrier is chosen by SLA, zone or cost, and the label, packing slip and tracking number are generated.
  5. The channel and customer are updatedThe ASN and tracking number flow back, so the selling channel and the customer see progress.
  6. Invoice and records close the loopThe invoice arrives by EDI or API, your ERP stays current, and dashboards show the result by SKU, channel and region.

One order touches the channel, the fulfillment partner (a supplier, manufacturer or 3PL), a carrier and your ERP. UniChannel connects them, which is why it can show the status of the whole order. Partner documents move by EDI or API.
